Your initial Direct Deposit Form must be typed in full, printed and then signed in black ink and provided to the Payroll Office to submit on your behalf to the Central Payroll Bureau. Once in place, any changes to the Direct Deposit can be made on the site.

It can take up to 3 pay periods for the Central Payroll Bureau (CPB) to fully process your initial Direct Deposit. You should check on the whether you are receiving a live check or the Direct Deposit has gone into effect. If after 3 pay periods, you are still receiving live checks, please contact the Payroll Office for assistance. Until which time the Direct Deposit has gone into effect, your paychecks will be mailed from CPB in Annapolis to the address on file from your W-4, the day before the actual pay date.

Once in place, any changes to the Direct Deposit can be made on the site or by bringing a new typed/signed Direct Deposit Form to the Payroll Office to submit on your behalf. These changes can take up to 3 pay periods for CPB to fully execute and you should expect to receive a live paycheck sent to your address on file until which time the changes have taken effect. You should continue to check on the to see whether you are receiving a live check or the new Direct Deposit has gone into effect.

While ÿÈÕ´óÈüÈë¿Ú strongly encourages Direct Deposit, if you have a situation that requires you to stop direct deposit and not set up another account for some reason, this can be done on the site or by bringing a new typed/signed Direct Deposit Form to the Payroll Office to submit on your behalf. The cancellation can take up to 3 pay periods for CPB to fully execute and you should expect to receive your normal direct deposit until it is fully executed. If your account has been closed and the direct deposit is sent, it will bounce back to CPB and they will either contact you directly or will contact the Payroll Office to resolve with a live check.
